Role Overview: As a Senior BIM Specialist, you will be instrumental in leveraging Building Information Modeling (BIM) methodologies and tools to enhance our digital services, particularly those related to design, construction, and infrastructure project management. This pivotal role contributes to mission-critical projects aimed at driving efficiency, collaboration, and innovation, bridging traditional AEC practices with cutting-edge technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development, implementation, and management of BIM standards, workflows, and protocols for various projects.
- Create, manage, and maintain high-quality 3D BIM models for architectural, structural, MEP, or infrastructure disciplines.
- Perform clash detection and coordination reviews, identifying and resolving conflicts within integrated models.
- Extract and manage BIM data for quantity take-offs, scheduling (4D), and costing (5D) purposes.
- Collaborate closely with design teams, engineers, project managers, and software developers to integrate BIM into digital solutions and project workflows.
- Provide expert support and training to project teams on BIM software and best practices.
- Ensure BIM deliverables comply with project requirements and industry standards (e.g., ISO 19650).
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of professional experience working as a BIM Specialist, BIM Coordinator, or similar role on complex projects.
- Expert proficiency in core BIM software, including Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks Manage.
- Strong experience with other relevant software such as Civil 3D, Infraworks, or similar design/modeling tools.
- Proven ability to develop and implement BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and project-specific BIM protocols.
- Solid understanding of BIM levels of development (LOD) and their application.
- Experience with clash detection, coordination, and reporting using Navisworks or similar tools.
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices related to BIM (e.g., ISO 19650).
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
