Role Overview: As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, building, and maintaining our robust data infrastructure and pipelines. This pivotal role contributes to mission-critical projects aimed at enhancing efficiency, driving innovation, and providing the foundational data for strategic business decisions, working across the full data lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines (ETL/ELT) to integrate, transform, and load data from various sources.
  • Build, optimize, and manage data warehouses, data lakes, and other data storage solutions to ensure high performance and accessibility for analytics and reporting.
  • Implement and manage data governance policies, data quality checks, and data security measures across all data platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with software development teams, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver robust, reliable data solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex data-related issues, ensuring data availability, integrity, and reliability.
  • Optimize data models and database schemas for performance and scalability.
  • Automate data processes and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of professional experience as a Data Engineer, with a strong focus on data pipeline development, data warehousing, and infrastructure.
  • Proven expertise in SQL for data querying, manipulation, and optimization.
  • Strong proficiency in Python for data scripting, automation, and engineering tasks.
  • Extensive experience with cloud data platforms and services (e.g., AWS services like S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda, Athena, EMR, Kinesis).
  • Deep understanding and hands-on experience designing and implementing complex ETL/ELT processes and data warehousing concepts.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
